The Business Coach, A parable of small business breakthrough! by Bradley J. Sugars. I picked this book up more by accident than design and it has turned out to be a real gem. It is written as an inspirational, instructional novel. It is the story about a husband and wife who own and operate a bakery. They know they want to expand but they do not know how until they are introduced to a professional coach. The story takes you through the mental growth of the owners into true business entrepreneurs and the various steps required. There are so many great thoughts and quotes throughout the book. For those reading this who are familiar with The Millionaire Real Estate Agent co-authored by Dave Jenks, they understand the importance of having a business model. This is the next step to having an effective model. It helps to take you OUT of your business and puts you in charge of your business or as The E-Myth by Michael Gerber suggests, you learn to work ON your business not IN your business. Great book. www.actioncoach.com.

Thank you so much for this post. I was looking for a good gift for a relative of mine who is a business coach. I can't wait to read it myself . I am a student of Gary Keller and Dave Jenks books. I will add this one to my reading list for January.
